9.1.5. Free-choice items
Free-choice items are combinations of one of the two prefixes //akár//-, //bár//-, meaning 'any', and a 'wh'-word (also characterized as an indeterminate pronoun). Some of them function as arguments, while others as modifiers. If the latter occur in themselves, the noun head they modify is ellipted.
