1.3.4.  Aspect/Mood/Evidentiality marking on the copula

Mood is marked on copulas. In non-indicative moods the verb stem 'become' is rather used, than the basic existential verb. The example illustrates a conditional clause.

if ill be.COND-1SG
’If I were ill...’
