9.1.4.  Existential quantifiers

Existental quantifiers are combinations of an existential morpheme (vala-, né-) and a 'wh'-word (also characterized as an indeterminate pronoun). Some of them function as arguments, while others as modifiers. If the latter occur in themselves, the noun head they modify is ellipted.
