5.3.3. Tense marking on the copula/verb(-like) element
Tenses are marked on copulas. Note that the morphology of copula-verbs are somewhat irregular and not fully transparent. Different tenses make use of different stems. (In third person, present tense, indicative the copula is absent. The example illustrate a first person subject.)
