The type of the locative predicate (case-marked, postpositional, adverbial) is not a determining factor in choosing between copulas..
János a kert-ben / a ház előtt / jó-l van.
John the garden-INE / the house before / good-ADV is
’John is in the garden / in front of the house. / John is (feeling) well.’
