Nominal Structures of Uralic Languages

Cardinal, ordinal and fractional numerals can be distinguished on formal grounds. Ordinal numerals are formed by adding the ordinalizer suffix -//Vd// plus the partitive suffix -//ik// to the cardinal. Fractional numerals are formed by the fractionalizer suffix -//Vd//. (The ordinalizer and the fractionalizer suffixes are homophonous.)
